BUYER GUIDE

Check door fit before ordering a hanging organizer

Record the door, clearance and organizer dimensions before selecting a model.

Home / Resources

Start with the installation location

Measure the usable door width and height. Note whether the door needs to open fully, where its handle sits, and whether an adjacent wall or frame restricts the organizer.

Check the hook and top clearance

Record the door thickness and the available gap above the door. Compare them with the exact hook dimensions for your chosen model. A photo with a ruler helps resolve uncertainty. Do not assume every hook fits every door.

Size the pockets for the contents

Measure the largest intended item, including shoes or their packaging where relevant. Ask for usable pocket dimensions, rather than relying only on the organizer’s overall size or pocket count.

Confirm the complete sample

Check fit on a representative door, normal opening and closing, access to the pockets and the intended load. Agree the test conditions and retain the approved sample for the order.
